I also bought mine at Lowes. I bought it to put up some trim in my house which nobody has commented on using it as a trim gage, worked great for the 3/16 reveal. I just marked my corners which allowed for easy measuring, then used the offset on the edge to position the trim as I nailed it. I also used the 45° to mark the trim to cut of the miter saw. After finishing the job I keep finding ways to transfer measurements and leveling wall hangings for my wife. It would be nice if the knob didn't have to come out all of the way, but all in all great quality, great tool.
