Description of Kreg SK02 Pocket Hole Screw Kit
Includes plenty of screws in five sizes in both fine and course threads.These screws from Kreg are quite unique in that they have a self-drilling auger point that cleanly drills into any solid, composite, or plywood with ease. Two different thread pitches are available, fine for hardwood and coarse for softwood, composite and plywood. This starter kit contains five of the most popular screw sizes and types. Screws are packed in an impact resistant plastic case which is illustrated with each screw type and has an application guide. Using these screws with Kreg?s pocket joint jig will enable even a novice woodworker to make strong, tight joints on the first try.
The SK02 Pocket Screw Kit includes 675 screws: (150) SPS-F1, (150) SPS-C1, (150) SML-F125, (150) SML-C125, and (75) SML-C250W.
Use a 1-inch screw in 1/2-inch stock, a 1-1/4-inch screw in 3/4-inch stock, and a 2-1/2-inch screw in 1-1/2-inch stock. Whether you are a professional cabinet maker or home crafter, this kit is a great sampler and will also keep the work area organized. ?- Sue Gregori

Customer Review: Nice birthday present.

I assisted my wife in picking out this tool as a birthday present for myself. It was to be used for a specific project. The directions were fairly clear and the tool worked well the first time I tried it. The screws I ordered with the tool worked very well also. When I ran out of the 2 1/2" Kreg screws I bought some replacements locally that were much softer and didn't function as well. I will have to do extra pre-drilling when using the locally bought screws to use them up.
